This is a cry in Maori oratory which heralds dawn or a new season.

The purpose or kaupapa of Whitiwhiti Ora is to encourage and empower people in their knowledge and understanding of Te Reo and local Tikaka Maori.

Ko Rakinui e tii iho nei, ko Papatiianuku e takoto ake nei, ko to taua honoka ki waekanui, kia tuia te ao.

The sky father above, the earth mother below, our bond in the middle to connect the world. Kia ora!
